I’m a Sherlock Holmes in the Making

Nuffnang made me do this. I want my sherlock holmes tickets now!!!!!!!!!

McD Prosperity Burger. I’m lovin’ it. Am I?

When you’re all alone at home and lazy to cook….who do you call? Mc…Donalds!!

Usually I’ll either cook myself or order some nice cheap fried rice when i’m eating alone but I make exception this time cause I found this and also because I’m lazy to cook

The reason I don’t really eat McD is because they are fattening i’m bored of their burgers already except quarter pounder. Dayuuummmm.. I can never get enough of beef LOL. While looking at pics and articles on McD I found interesting stuff bout McD and fast food chains as a whole. When I have time, I’d probably do some simple research on Mc D and dedicate an entire post on it kekeke.

Well those of you who saw  my facebook status and tweet, I ordered Prosperity Burger since the last time I’ve eaten one was about 2 years + ago. Hmmm I don’t think I’ll eat it again. I find that the pepper was really too strong for me. Not that I can’t stand the spiciness, it feels as though the pepper blocked out the other flavours.

To illustrate my point I decided to perform an original scientific experiment with a whole thesis to convey my results and findings.

Somebody call 911! Shawty fire burning on the dance floor! Whoa~~!!

The promised 1 line thesis of the experiment:

Para pa pa pa~ I’m not lovin’ it.

Dragon Age: Origins

Finally I’ve picked up my pre-ordered Dragon Age: Origins. This is the first time I pre-ordered something and it does build up lots of anticipation towards the release date. I took standard edition as I thought the collector’s edition extra stuff doesn’t worth the extra moolah. This is what I got:

Poster:

T-shirt:

Well I gotta say the T-shirt was abit of a disappointment.  I took the M size and I realize the T-shirt was slightly wider than usual measurements. I can only think of 2 possibilities:

1) make the owner looks slightly bulkier as though the tee is an armor

2) majority of geeks that are crazy about fantasy boardgames, cardgames, novels, paper and pen RPG, RPGs, MMORPGs are horizontally blessed.

In-game items:I believe EA and Bioware did a great job in rewarding customers and fans that support originals as they included these for every new copy of DA:O

Blood Dragon Armor:

This is the most exciting free in-game item as it can be used for Bioware’s upcoming sci-fi shooter RPG Mass Effect 2 (I think the world just shook due to synchronized-hooray-jump with the mention of Mass Effect 2 oppss again felt that?). The blood dragon armor certainly looks super yeng kao kao in ME 2 but it looks abit …… how to say…dumb in DA:O.

Twilight: New Moon

I’d recommend this to any RPG lovers especially those who loved western RPGs such as Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gates etc. Well so long for now, I’ve got a world to save !!

DaVinci The Genius

Last Saturday, I went to Pusat Sains Negara for the DaVinci exhibition. All thanks to Daniel from Total Sports Asia =D. I reached there first while waiting for the late comers ahem  Yuet Mui , her sister Yuet Leng and their friend Calvin. While I was waiting I saw on the announcement board that PSN has a biotech awareness thingy for primary kids and they include stuff like DNA etc. In a way I was quite impressed, back when i’m in primary, all i knew was what is a cell wait…it should be apa itu cell =( .

DSCN3465Ahhh~ PSN, the last time i’ve been here was during my primary school trip. From the way it looks nothing much has change I guess. Honestly the exhibition was owkaay la~ somehow I wasn’t impress with the wooden models of his inventions. However, I kinda like the short video presentation on plasma tv the exhibitors provide at certain sections. There were enough facts available on his life and his inventions at different sections which I think wasn’t too little and not too much for those who have super short attention span.

However, the highlight of the exhibition was the Mona Lisa section, ohhhh my how I enjoyed that section. The secrets and truths unlocked by Pascal a French engineer using his patented special camera was astonishing to me. I gotta say I somehow ‘feel’ for the Mona Lisa painting as it has gone through alot. It has been in the bathroom of Napoleon which gave it some water damage, had a rock thrown at it, acid damage upon it, stolen and returned.

Okay ranting part, from what i gather from the international site of this exhibition, our local exhibition were lack of several things: the exclusive 3d animation of Vitruvian Man and the Last Supper, Leonardo’s alphabet and writing technique, audio tour and many more. The vitruvian man and Last Supper painting were displayed as ‘other famous work of Leonardo’ without much explanation. Was a tad bit dissapointed, considering the Last Supper painting should be quite famous since it was a crucial aspect in the movie The DaVinci Code, I’m sure it’ll be more interesting to hear some views from some historian experts on it.

I would still recommend it to everyone though Rm25 for adults. You could try to get complimentary tickets, refer to my previous post about DaVinci for details. Personally, from this exhibition I’m really impressed about what Leonardo has done, I cannot comprehend how in his lifetime He could accomplish so much in different fields. Anatomy, painting, physics, music, inventor to name a few.

I think everyone should learn to appreciate history and art before its too late.

Haha no pictures from the exhibition since cameras are not allowed. You can see some at my previous post though cheeeerrrrrssss
