Distance : 7.3km (Frank's nike+ sportsband)
Venue : Dataran Merdeka

Andy > Frank > me

I know...dun laugh!! taken by pacemaker photographer whoever you are hehe

Short Version

  • Reached there with Goma and Sin May, too late to meet up with runnerz circle ppl.
  • Its Sin May's first time hehehehehehehe.
  • Watched leonard, waikuan, eddie, xinyi, yi xiong, and goma do aerobics.
  • Lined up quite at the back. BANG!! all of a sudden without even announcing "Ready!, GEt set! etc".
  • 2ndary school students at the start were slow and blocking the whole road, imagine 5-6 girls walking together in a horizontal line just few hundred metres away from starting line
  • Freed myself somewhere after the ktm station.
  • Met uncle Thiam Fook lol
  • Ran at 90+% max HR macam mau mampus the whole race.
Finished with 46:10 sec and dunked lots lots lots lots of ribena and a few cups of milo.

Long Version
Reached Laitee house only realised I didn't bring my report card, rush back home to take it sigh there goes the petrol. Parked at Lake Gardens which I will come to regret later (more on this later). Started the run, zig zagging to potong all the school kids that just love to appear together in a horizontal line either walking or jogging at a speed of walking. Only got to free myself during the hilly part . ONLY THEN I REALISED its part of the Double Hill route! I thought McD run should be easy, relaxing and flat all the way. I love the hills anyway heeee :D .

Met uncle Thiam Fook along the way lol. Amazingly i was running at about 90+ % of my max heart rate, couldn't control myself. For the first time, I overestimated the distance when I notice "uik? finishing d wor", normally I underestimate the distance and begging for the finish line to appear in front of me. After crossing the finish line, seconds later Lai tee crossed the finish line WITH A MEDAL IN HAND.....for that split second I wish I was a girl hahaha. Nah...being a guy is still good !!!ngek ngek

I'm satisfied with the result....but would like to be faster next time.

Youthaflame and SinMay!

With Lai Tee's sisters, Lai Tee's sisters' friends etc.

Time : 46:10
Average HR : 180
Peak HR : 194 (GILA siut...must be during the last 200 m)

So after all the drinking and taking pictures, went back to car and noticed my rear passenger side mirror was smashed. Thank GOD nothinggggg was stolen. I wasn't happy with that (who would lol) but I'm kinda alright, wasn't jumping around with fists flinging in the air or shouting profanities. Just worried about how much ringgit its gonna cost us this time.

Happy Birthday to MEEEE!!

16 June 1987.....Jonathan(not in IC) Kuek Weng Keong was born into this world. A neonate (scientific term for newborn, sengaja use this term since my final year project involve neonates) that is fairly heavy according to my mum at 7 'pong'( chinese fot lbs). Few hours earlier, my evil twin Vivian king kong came into this world too, in the same hospital hahahaha.

Million thanks to Vivian and family for including me in her birthday celebration. Thanks to all you peeps out there that has 1 way or another remembered my bday/gave me presents/friendster comments/sms/calls and etc. Appreciate it...

However....

The One i really need to thank the most ........is God Himself. Never would i find the reason for me to live on earth, never would I experience such love that is beyond comprehension, never would I realized my self-worth and identity, never would I be able to stand up after every fall, never would I be able to forgive myself and others over weaknesses and stupid mistakes if it is not for Him.

I wanna thank You for every single thing that happened in my life, it truly is a wonderful experience and painful too. As a child and You the Father, I've been bad, ignoring you, disobeying you at times, I am sorry and help me to never forget that this life of mine is Yours and Yours alone.

Never would my life be the same again, in every victories and defeats in my life, You were there with me, in my strengths and my weaknesses you were there. Hereby, I publicly declare that I belong to You and will live in full potential of what You want me to be.

Nuggets testing! yum~

Did sensory evaluation this week for food science students. Something bout 'less-oiled' nuggets. There were 2 sets. Each set consists bout 8 sample of nuggets. Hahaha there were some nice nuggets there yum yum~ but no idea which one is produced originally by the food science seniors. Should go for more sensory evaluation, free food plus help them in their research kekekeke

Fraser's Hill

A shot of the Clocktower and Post office at Frasers

Ride starts from Kuala Kubu Bharu's stadium. The scene at the dam area was really nice....now i know why its rumoured to be one of the most scenic ride in Klang Valley. The initial 30km to GAP wasn't hard but the last 8km from GAP to Frasers is kinda tough for me.

Roads around the dam area, I lazy to slow down and take pic at the dam earlier....regretted.

At the GAP, waiting for the 11am time slot to go up Frasers.

some of the bikes

long queue of cars waiting for the 11am slot as well.

Balikking time was SUPER SCARY and PAINFUL especially the 8km part from Frasers to GAP, It was so cold that I was literally shivering while cruising down. Not just that, I'm not a fast downhiller so I was actually braking almost all the time as it was too steep for me. Both of hands were in super pain holding the brakes but no choice, was relieved the moment we reached GAP. After GAP, it wasn't that steep and narrow so it was OK. Really enjoyed the ride, would like to come again sometime but driving distance is quite far somemore petrol naik :(
Total Distance up : About 39-40 km

from wiki "In photography, shutter speed is the length of time a shutter is open; the total exposure is proportional to this exposure time, or duration of light reaching the film or image sensor."
