When Gaming Goes Wrong

Hmmm...We heard about a gamer too obsessed with his xbox that when his parents took his xbox, he ran away from home and it became such a hoo hah that Microsoft feels responsible (or taking advantage of this situation as a marketing opportunity) so they offer up rewards for the kid to come back (or is it for anyone who found that kid?).

Then we have the usual once in a few years korean gamer died after a marathon of starcraft in cybercafe. Even in Malaysia, theres a case where guy stabs another gamer because he wanted to revenge his death in counterstrike.

The ultimate came when this sad news about a teenage boy who shot his mum to death because his parents confiscated his copy of Halo 3. Though his dad forgives him, he will live in regret all his life just because of gaming.

As a gamer myself, it saddens me when the obsession or consequences of gaming would cause so much misery to some people. Games were meant to be enjoyed not to harm. No matter what it is, be it gaming, movies, books, if we do it excessively and allows it to 'take over', it would bring bad consequences to us. What this generation need is the ability to prioritize important things and to focus whats important in life, about what truly matters. Lets not laugh at incidents like these but offer a helping hand to people around us that seems disillusioned about what ever things that they are obsessed in.

"Would you guys close your eyes," Daniel Petric asked. "I have a surprise for you."

"Dad, I'm so sorry for what I did to Mom, to you and to the family," Daniel Petric said, according to his father. "I'm so glad you are alive."

"You're my son," Mark Petric responded. "You're my boy."

The Kajang Lesson

We, the cheras boys have always been proud and consider ourselves more 'tahan-able' since we live in a more lower-class area so to speak and our experience in one mamak shop in Kajang humbled us ermm....more like it humbled our dear brother Victor hee hee.

' This is a story of a boy~
who drowned the world when he sweat a river~
while he look so sad in photographs~
We absolutely love him, when he eat SPICY MAGGI GORENG!!!!!!'

We ordered maggi goreng double tak nak pedas...

This guy cannot eat pedas

He ate it due to peer pressure..........and that was our last night with him =(
